Job summary

The Care Team is seeking caring, reliable and experienced Carers to support children with additional needs in the Wicklow area on a part-time basis.

We are looking for compassionate individuals who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and support, helping children to develop their independence, participate in daily activities and achieve their individual goals in a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or a relevant qualification in Social Care, Childcare or Disability Studies.
• Qualifications or experience as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA).
• Qualifications or training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
• Willingness to undertake additional training if required.

Responsibilities

• Support children with additional needs in their daily activities.
• Help children develop independence in a safe, supportive environment.
• Provide high-quality, person-centred care with a patient, caring approach.
