Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs with on-site programs designed for national-aged children. The role involves supervising children, assisting with homework, and leading a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

Requires experience with school-aged children, basic child development knowledge, Garda vetting, and two written references. Part-time hours are from 07:40-08:40 and 14:00-18:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
