Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs for national school-aged children, operating on-site at schools with engaging daily activities. We seek a part-time Childcare Support Worker to supervise, assist with homework, and lead activities while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

Garda vetting and a valid Work Permit/VISA are essential. Fluency in English and Irish is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to understand and speak Irish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
