Job summary

Evergreen Talent Group is seeking an experienced Overhead Lines Design Engineer in Ireland to support LV through EHV transmission and distribution networks. You will help deliver grid connections for wind, solar and energy storage projects, from concept through handover.

You will work on design calculations, route assessments and documentation, ensuring compliance with ESB Networks and EirGrid standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline and 3+ years in overhead line design.
• Experience with transmission or distribution projects and grid connections.
• Familiarity with ESB Networks or EirGrid design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare overhead line designs for LV–EHV projects and produce design packages.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and construction teams through lifecycle.
• Review drawings, calculations and technical documentation for compliance.
