Job summary

ESB Networks seeks a Governance Lead for Operations Systems Support to drive OT governance over SCADA, GIS, and related OT platforms. You will partner with IT, engineering and risk teams to ensure secure, reliable operations and strong incident management, change control and assurance across the landscape.

The role demands deep governance expertise, regulatory awareness, and leadership without direct line management, in a hybrid working environment at ESB Networks, Leopardstown Road, Dublin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years post‑graduate experience in a related discipline with OT governance exposure.
• Experience in governance, risk, compliance or assurance in regulated industries.
• Ability to embed governance into operational work, with change management delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain OT governance frameworks aligned with standards and requirements.
• Oversee compliance, regulatory oversight, audit support and policy adherence.
• Oversee governance of OT change, configuration and asset management with risk assessments.
• Engage stakeholders across OT, IT, engineering and risk teams for governance decisions.
• Monitor governance effectiveness, risk exposure, and drive continual improvement.
