UPMC Whitfield Hospital in Waterford is seeking a Staff Nurse Orthopaedics to join a full-time permanent team. You will provide high quality, patient-centred care and work closely with the nursing team to maintain excellent standards.

You will act as a preceptor to preregistration students, mentor new staff, and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative practice within the unit.

Competenze

• Be Registered General Nurse with NMBI.
• Orthopaedic and/or General Inpatient Ward experience is essential.
• Paediatric experience is desirable.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.

Mansioni

• Deliver the highest standard of care to all patients.
• Act as preceptor to preregistration students and mentor staff.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support learning and patient safety.
• Maintain and apply clinical governance, risk management and accreditation standards.
