Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Order Management Specialist for a 12-month contract in East Galway City. The role manages a portfolio of 20 to 80 accounts globally, ensuring accurate order processing and timely updates to customers, with coordination across Materials, Credit, Shipping, Sales & Marketing, Compliance and IT.

Key requirements include a third-level degree or 2+ years in order management, strong customer focus, and proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage order entry to ensure prompt entry, approvals, and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Liaise with Materials, Credit, Shipping, Sales & Marketing, Compliance and IT to ensure orders are processed accurately.
• Provide customers with reliable updates regarding order status and availability.
• Build strong relationships to support new initiatives and system implementations.
• Monitor incomplete orders and find solutions.

Order Management Specialist (12-month contract)

Location: East Galway City

Salary: 35-40k depending on level of experience

Contract type: 12 months, with potential to become longer term. There is the option to work from home one day per week (Fridays).

Flexible Office hours:Monday to Friday. 9am being the latest start time.

You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 20 to 80 accounts globally, ensuring exceptional service and support across multiple regions.

What Skills You Need

• Third-level degree is required or 2 + year's work experience within a similar Order Management environment.
• Experience in Order Management.
• Strong business and customer focus, with proven communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluency in a second European language would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Relevant work experience is the priority.
