Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager with deep Oracle HCM Core HR expertise to lead the Ireland HRIS strategy and support expansion across the EMEA region. The role will serve as the primary HRIS lead for Ireland while collaborating with People & Culture, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to ensure scalable, compliant processes and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with at least 3 years supporting Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle HCM Core HR.
• Experience supporting Oracle HCM Recruiting and Absence Management.
• Demonstrated experience leading system implementations, enhancements, or large-scale HR technology projects.
• Ensuring adherence to SDLC standards including requirements traceability, design reviews, testing strategy, release planning, and stage-gate governance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle HCM functional leadership for Ireland and designated EMEA initiatives.
• Configure, maintain, test, and optimise Oracle HCM functionality.
• Collaborate with HRIS and other HCM modules such as Recruiting, Absence Management, Talent, Compensation and Reporting.
• Manage requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Partner with global HRIS team to deliver quarterly Oracle updates and improvements.
• Evaluate new Oracle features and recommend adoption strategies.
