Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Global People Operations Manager to lead regional HR programs across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia within the firm's global framework.

You will advise on local employment practices, ensure alignment with global standards, and drive scalable, data-informed People Operations initiatives while partnering with HRBPs, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, People Operations, or shared services environment.
• Experience administering complex employee lifecycle processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong business acumen balancing employee experience with operational needs.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and resolve complex employee matters with discretion.
• Excellent customer service, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational, project management, and prioritisation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with HR technology, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making.
• Analytical mindset and accountability.
• Coaching and mentoring with collaborative leadership.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and governance of People & Culture policies and programs with scalable processes and standards.
• Provide strategic guidance on regional employment practices and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as escalation point across the employee lifecycle for complex People Operations matters.
• Drive cross-functional projects to enhance operational effectiveness and employee experience.
• Leverage data and insights to identify trends and support People Operations initiatives.
• Partner with global stakeholders to deliver integrated People & Culture solutions.
• Lead and develop a team of HR Generalists and Associates.
• Act as regional People Operations lead for EMEA with strong cross-border collaboration.
• Support strategic initiatives like entity integrations and operating model enhancements.
• Translate evolving business needs into effective People Operations solutions.
