Job description

Oracle Fusion Financials Programme Manager

daa LABS PMO / Finance
Location: Dublin / Hybrid
Employment type: Two-year fixed-term contract
Seniority: Senior programme leadership role · 10+ years' experience
Core environment: Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Finance, Procurement and Procure-to-Pay
Working practice: Finance-led, controlled transformation centred on an "adopt, not adapt" approach

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation. This high-profile, business-critical programme will strengthen the Finance operating model, control environment, reporting capability and decision support available across the organisation. The guiding principle is "adopt, not adapt": leveraging standard Oracle Fusion best-practice processes wherever they support control, compliance, efficiency and sustainable business value, rather than recreating complex legacy ways of working.

You will lead the design, implementation, adoption and stabilisation of Oracle Fusion Financials and Procure-to-Pay capabilities within a complex enterprise setting. Finance will own the target operating model, reporting integrity, financial outputs and controls, and you will ensure the programme remains business-led, delivery-focused and appropriately governed from mobilisation through to business-as-usual transition.

This is a senior leadership role for an accomplished transformation professional who can work confidently with executive stakeholders, Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, implementation partners and wider business teams. You will bring the judgement to challenge design decisions where they may compromise controls, reporting, efficiency or long-term value, while maintaining momentum across a complex, multi-disciplinary delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion ERP capabilities across Finance and Procurement, from programme mobilisation and system-integrator selection through to implementation, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation. You will lead the procurement process to appoint the system-integration partner and build a high-performing implementation team with the right governance, skills and capacity to deliver successfully and transition smoothly into business as usual.

You will establish and maintain clear programme plans, milestones, governance forums, executive reporting, risk and issue management, dependency management, budget control and decision-making processes. In close partnership with Finance and Procurement leadership, you will ensure key decisions on process design, controls, data migration, master data, reporting and business adoption have appropriate Finance ownership and executive oversight.

You will lead the delivery of core Finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, financial controls and reporting. You will also oversee Procurement capabilities spanning sourcing, purchasing, supplier management and Procure-to-Pay controls, enabling standardised ways of working across the organisation.

You will manage system integrators, Oracle partners, third-party vendors, internal delivery teams and business workstreams against agreed scope, milestones, budget and outcomes. You will oversee integration readiness, data migration and reconciliation, testing, cutover planning, go-live readiness and post-go-live support, ensuring auditability, compliance and control disciplines are embedded throughout the programme lifecycle.

You will drive business readiness through stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change management and adoption activity. Your focus will be on delivering meaningful business outcomes, including faster and improved reporting, reduced manual intervention and a controlled, sustainable transition to the new operating model.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Oracle Fusion ERP Implementation Leadership

CORE
You have proven experience leading, or playing a senior delivery role in, a full-cycle Oracle Fusion ERP implementation. You understand the demands of mobilising, governing and delivering an enterprise transformation from design through deployment and stabilisation. You can apply an "adopt, not adapt" mindset pragmatically, challenging unnecessary customisation while balancing standardisation with business, control and compliance requirements.

Finance Transformation and Oracle Fusion Financials

CRITICAL
You have practical experience working within a complex Finance function and understand Finance as an operating model rather than simply a set of system modules. You possess a strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, financial controls and reporting. You can confidently assess how process and design choices affect financial integrity, reporting quality, operational efficiency and long-term value.

Oracle Fusion Procurement and Procure-to-Pay

CORE
You understand Oracle Fusion Procurement capabilities, including purchasing, sourcing, supplier management and Procure-to-Pay controls. You can lead the implementation of standardised procurement processes and work effectively with Finance and Procurement leaders to establish strong controls, clear accountabilities and sustainable ways of working across the purchasing lifecycle.

Programme Governance, Planning and Commercial Control

CRITICAL
You bring more than ten years' programme management experience leading large, complex and business-critical transformation programmes. You have strong hands-on capability in delivery planning, programme governance, risk and issue management, dependency management, budget management and executive reporting. You can establish structured decision-making forums and provide clear, action-oriented visibility of progress, risks, choices and outcomes.

System Integrator, Vendor and Cross-Functional Leadership

REQUIRED
You have experience managing system integrators, Oracle partners, third-party vendors and internal delivery teams. You can align diverse workstreams around a shared delivery plan, hold partners accountable for outcomes and manage the commercial, contractual and operational dependencies that influence programme success. You work credibly across Finance, Procurement, HR, IT and senior leadership audiences.

Data, Integration, Testing and Go-Live Readiness

REQUIRED
You have led or overseen the delivery disciplines essential to a successful ERP deployment, including integrations, data migration, reconciliation, testing, cutover, go-live readiness and post-go-live support. You bring close attention to detail on control design, auditability, data quality and readiness, and can ensure risks are understood and resolved before they affect business operations.

Stakeholder Engagement, Change and Business Adoption

CORE
You are an excellent communicator and influential senior stakeholder manager. You can translate complex programme status, technical decisions and trade-offs into clear business language, while building commitment to change across impacted teams. You have experience leading or supporting communications, training, adoption and change-management activity in a complex transformation environment.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience migrating from legacy Oracle E-Business Suite processes and platforms to standardised Oracle Fusion ERP - valuable for anticipating legacy-process, data and adoption challenges.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with enterprise data platforms - beneficial for supporting reporting, analytics and data-sharing requirements.
  • Experience leveraging native Oracle Fusion AI capabilities - useful for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and decision support.
  • A recognised programme or project management qualification, such as MSP, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent - supportive of disciplined enterprise delivery.
  • Change-management certification or demonstrable experience leading adoption in complex transformations - valuable for accelerating sustainable business readiness.

WHY JOIN US?

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in a high-impact Finance transformation programme. You will help shape a modern Finance operating model, strengthen enterprise controls, improve reporting and enable more efficient ways of working through the successful adoption of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. The role offers substantial scope to influence strategic outcomes while leading a complex programme from mobilisation to a successful, stable transition into business as usual.

If you are an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP programme leader with a strong Finance transformation background, we would welcome your application. Please submit a CV outlining your Oracle Fusion delivery experience, programme leadership credentials and examples of successful enterprise transformation delivery.
