Optical Express in Newbridge, Co. Kildare is seeking a Patient Advisor to warmly welcome and support patients from entry to post-treatment stages. You will help schedule consultations, assist with diagnostic scans and guide patients through vision correction options while liaising with the optometrist.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients and ensure regular communication prior to and following their treatment
• Assist in patient consultations / practice visits
• Undertake diagnostic scans on patients using state of the art equipment as part of a full health check
• Assist patients to complete health & lifestyle questionnaires
• Introduce patients to their optometrist
• Schedule treatment dates for vision correction surgery
• Advise on traditional vision correction solutions, namely glasses and contact lenses
• Discuss finance options
• Accurately maintain patient records
