Job summary

Quinn Downes Group in Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to lead a new HVAC installation project in Clonmel. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate mechanical services with builders, track milestones, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

The role offers autonomy to lead teams, deliver on time and within budget, and collaborate with the Contracts Manager to produce the programme of works.

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience of HVAC installations.
• Proficient use of MS Office programmes.
• An excellent communicator and leader who is able to motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on continuous performance improvements in day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the project according to contract requirements, time limits, quality standards and regulations.
• Maintain Site Office and Stores to a high standard for the project duration.
• Coordinate mechanical services and builders work drawings.
• Issue Bi-Weekly P&T HILTI Reports.
• Maintain master requisition schedule and track deliveries to meet the programme.
• Order materials and check plant delivery dates; ensure on-schedule arrival.
• Record deliveries and liaise with Suppliers; issue signed delivery documents to Procurement.
• Assist payroll with timesheet queries.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct staff on site on safety, quality and installations coordination.
• Assist Project Engineers to ensure QA documents are delivered at Milestones.
• Attend site and whiteboard meetings with main contractor to review daily updates.

As part of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team to manage a new project in Clonmel.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of the project according to the contract requirements, time limits, company quality standards and construction regulations.
• Maintain Site Office and Stores to a high standard for the duration of the Project.
• Co-ordinating mechanical services and builders work drawings.
• Issue of Bi-Weekly P&T HILTI Reports.
• Maintain master requisition schedule.
• Order materials and check plant deliveries dates ensuring they arrive on programme.
• Recording deliveries, liaising with suppliers and issuing signed delivery dockets to the Procurement Department as required.
• Assist payroll with any Timesheet queries that may arise.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct staff on site regarding safety, quality, and co-ordinating installations.
• Assist the Project Engineers, ensuring the Quality Assured Doc's are delivered at the Milestones set out.
• Attend site meetings.
• Attend white board meetings with the main contractor to review daily updates.
• Ensure all installations on site are maintained to QDG standards.
• Assist the Contracts Manager in producing a programme of works for the project.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
• Project closedown actions and decant from site.
