Job summary

Hyreus, based in Dublin, is recruiting a Junior Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and rental operations. You will coordinate equipment, people and processes to meet customer requirements and ensure smooth delivery, collections and upkeep of gear.

The role suits an organised, hands-on individual with a keen eye for operational detail and a drive to progress into management. You will work closely with the management team to optimise efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, equipment hire, rental or logistics.
• Experience as warehouse controller or hire controller is advantageous.
• Good understanding of equipment control, stock management and rental processes.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communicating with customers, colleagues and external suppliers.
• Good IT and administration skills, including maintaining operational records.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
• Interest in progressing into an operations management position

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of warehouse and rental operations.
• Coordinate equipment availability, stock control, deliveries and collections.
• Monitor the movement, condition and maintenance status of rental equipment.
• Assist with scheduling and allocating resources to meet operational demands.
• Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, service engineers and the wider operations team.
• Help ensure equipment is prepared, checked and ready for hire.
• Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support the management of customer requirements and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and inventory information.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure warehouse procedures are followed.
• Provide operational support to the management team and develop towards greater responsibility.
