Job summary

Berkley Group in South Dublin is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist on a 12-month contract to lead improvement projects from definition through sustainment.

You will deliver projects, coach belt candidates, run workshops, and work with cross-functional teams to drive productivity and implement standard work.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in CI or related fields; formal belt certification is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Quality, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or related roles.
• Evidence of Lean and/or Six Sigma training; belt certification not required.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods and daily management/standard work.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions and manage groups independently.

Responsibilities

• Support daily management, standard work, and improvement routines in assigned areas.
• Independently facilitate problem-solving sessions, workshops, and improvement activities with cross-functional groups.
• Coach Yellow Belt and Green Belt candidates, project sponsors, process owners, and team members on improvement tools and governance.
• Promote productivity ideation and CI culture by identifying and initiating improvement opportunities aligned with priorities.
• Own and manage assigned process confirmations and the area process-confirmation schedule.
