Job summary

BD Enniscorthy is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Technician to support the Continuous Improvement (CI) team on the shop floor. You will identify and resolve day-to-day operational challenges, analyze processes, optimise material and people flow, and implement process and equipment improvements to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Experience in continuous improvement and Lean methods in a manufacturing setting.
• Proactive problem-solving with a track record of identifying inefficiencies.
• Ability to coach and train operators in best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with operators and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze processes and design efficient, balanced process flows.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives by improving workflows and reducing waste.
• Collect and evaluate key process data to support improvements.
• Coach operators and deliver training on best practices.
• Drive Lean methodologies and participate in CI events and projects.
• Facilitate tiered meetings and contribute to site-wide improvement initiatives.
