Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and contractual requirements across Life Science projects on site in Blanchardstown.

The role requires a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying and 5+ years' experience as a Project QS, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and prior experience in the electrical/mechanical field preferred.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Project QS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in the electrical/mechanical field is desirable.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Ability to influence colleagues and work as part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project procurement including Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review all incoming correspondence from Employers/Design Team/subcontractors and initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin and cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.
