Job summary

Astatine Ltd is offering a paid internship onsite in Dublin to join the Solar or Wind Farm projects. You will assist with QA/QC activities, site documentation, inspections, progress tracking and coordination of civil and mechanical works.

Ideal for a civil or mechanical engineering student eager to gain practical project delivery experience in renewable energy, with exposure to live projects and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing civil or mechanical engineering degree or closely related discipline.
• Interest in construction, renewables, wind/solar projects, onsite delivery environments.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in QA/QC, inspections, and documentation.
• Good communication, teamwork, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Full, clean driver’s license due to onsite role.
• Own transport preferred for regular site access.

Responsibilities

• Support onsite project engineering team with day-to-day QA/QC activities.
• Assist with site inspections, quality checks, snagging, and follow-up actions on civil and mechanical works.
• Help maintain QA/QC records, inspection forms, photos, reports, and project documentation.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality requirements under supervision.
• Support progress tracking and coordination between site teams, subcontractors, and project engineers.
• Attend site meetings and contribute updates on QA/QC status and outstanding actions.
• Assist with health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance activities on site.
• Work with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and site operatives to resolve queries and support delivery.
• Bring a proactive, organized, and hands-on attitude, with a willingness to learn.
