About Astatine
Astatine Limited is a specialised energy company focused on accelerating the transition to zero carbon for energy users across multiple sectors. We design, construct, operate, and maintain multi-technology assets, including solar PV, battery energy storage, heat pumps, and advanced controls. Our core values are collaboration, innovation, urgency, and integrity. As the energy sector grows rapidly, interns will have the opportunity to upskill in cutting-edge technologies and gain exposure to real-world engineering projects.
Position Overview
This role offers broad exposure to the development and delivery of renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on understanding how a wind farm progresses from planning and design through procurement, finance, and construction. It is ideal for an intern or recent graduate who is interested in project management and cross-functional delivery. The successful candidate will support multiple workstreams, liaise with internal teams and external consultants or contractors, and gain practical experience across contracts, stakeholders, planning, civils, electrical interfaces and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in coordinating renewable energy projects from planning and design through procurement, financial close and construction.
- Assist with tracking multiple project workstreams, actions, deadlines, dependencies, and key deliverables.
- Help coordinate input from external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Prepare and maintain project trackers, meeting notes, action logs, schedules, and supporting documentation using Word and Excel.
- Attend and contribute to planning, design, procurement, construction and stakeholder meetings.
- Support the preparation, review and organisation of project documents, contracts, consultant reports, procurement materials, and decision papers.
- Liaise professionally with external consultants and contractors, following up on information requests and outstanding actions.
- Develop an understanding of how planning, commercial, civil, electrical, environmental, grid and construction considerations fit together in renewable energy project delivery.
- Work collaboratively across disciplines, asking clear questions when requirements are unclear, and helping keep project information organised and up to date.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering , Renewable Energy,
- Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Active interest in renewable energy, particularly wind farm development and delivery.
- Strong Word, Excel and general Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to create clear trackers, notes and project documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating with external consultants, contractors and suppliers in a professional manner.
- Genuine interest in a broad project management role that provides exposure to contracts, stakeholders, planning, civils, electrical interfaces and other disciplines, rather than a highly technical specialist role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn and comfortable working across different departments and business functions.
- Valid driver’s licence is preferable but not mandatory.
- Opportunity to work with an experienced team and gain broad exposure to renewable energy project development and delivery.
- Hands-on experience with real projects in the renewable energy sector.
