Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced onsite Electrical Store Person for a major construction project in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

You will manage stores, receive deliveries, record GRNs, control stock levels and work with site teams and suppliers to keep projects running smoothly. The role requires 3+ years in store/stock control within Electrical, M&E or construction, with solid knowledge of GRNs and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Storeperson or Materials Controller in Electrical, M&E, Construction or Engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical materials and stock control processes.
• Experience with GRNs, inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; stock management systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation, organisation and security of site stores.
• Receive, inspect and record deliveries with GRNs and documentation.
• Maintain stock levels through regular stock takes and inventory control.
• Issue materials to site teams and coordinate material call-offs with suppliers.
• Ensure correct procedures for receiving, storing, preserving and distributing materials.
• Liaise with site management, procurement and suppliers to resolve delivery issues.
• Record and manage excess/unwanted/returned materials, including scrap disposal.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to improve productivity, safety, quality and processes.
