Job summary

FORTÉ in Ireland is seeking an Onsite AV Technician to test, repair, and maintain AV and VC equipment, ensuring maximum room availability for end users on site. The role is highly customer-service focused, requiring a professional demeanor during interactions with users and colleagues.

You will perform routine testing, troubleshoot projectors, microphones, displays, and LED walls; support high-level events; maintain asset inventories; and liaise with the Helpdesk to resolve tickets with timely

Qualifications

Demonstrated working knowledge of AV practices and procedures.
Videoconferencing experience including operation and call setup.
Experience with web conferencing tools like Webex, Teams, Zoom.
Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
Strong customer-service focus and ability to interact with end users.

Responsibilities

Test, repair, and maintain AV/VC equipment to ensure room availability.
Daily testing and troubleshooting of projectors, microphones, speakers, displays, and LED walls.
Assist in setup and support of multi-room events and company meetings with AV infrastructure.
Maintain accurate asset inventories and equipment records.
Update Help Desk with end-user AV requests and ticket statuses.
Escalate Tier 2 issues to the Service Helpdesk for resolution.
