Job summary

FORTÉ Ireland is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to support the architecture, installation and planning of audio, video, and control systems. You will design integrated AV solutions and document the process with CAD drawings and system descriptions, ensuring projects meet client requirements.

The role emphasizes knowledge of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms, plus the ability to interpret engineering diagrams. CTS certifications are a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Design Engineering experience
• Experience in service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems
• Knowledgeable of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS)
• Ability to read advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction and electrical drawings
• Knowledge of project financial reports and cost control in design and management of projects
• CTS/CTS-D certifications are a plus, related certifications are also beneficial
