The Metropole Hotel in Cork City is seeking a Full Time Duty Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The role reports to the Deputy General Manager/General Manager and focuses on maintaining guest satisfaction and premium service standards.

You will oversee daily operations across departments, ensure health and safety compliance, manage staffing levels, and lead the team through peak periods and incidents to deliver consistently high service.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining health, safety and security standards across all areas while on shift
• Liaise with HODs daily to ensure sufficient staffing levels
• Ensure operation in all areas runs to the agreed standard and address discrepancies with HODs
• Assist in daily operation of F&B outlets, Accommodation and Front Office
• Be operationally responsible for service delivery and standards throughout the building when on duty
• Lead the team during fire alarm or pre-alarm scenarios
• Ensure signage, cleanliness and proper storage of goods and purchases
• Provide feedback from guests and participate in management strategy updates
