Job summary

Fitzgeralds Vienna Woods Hotel in Cork seeks a Senior Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, including 48 bedrooms, 8 villas, restaurant, bar, and function rooms. You will report to the General Manager and lead a team to deliver exceptional guest service, with main shifts on weekend evenings.

The role requires prior Duty Management experience in a high-volume 4* or 5* property, with a focus on guest satisfaction, quality standards, and efficient operation across conferencing, weddings,

Qualifications

• Previous Duty Management experience in a high volume 4* or 5* property.
• Ability to manage a large hotel operation daily including conferencing, weddings, bar and restaurant.
• Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage expectations.
• Assist with the hotel's daily operations to deliver exceptional guest service from each department.

We have an exciting new position as SeniorDuty Manager with us here at Cork's Vienna Woods Hotel.

*You will be reporting directly to the General Manager, and help oversee the running of the hotel which includes 48 bedrooms and 8 holiday villas, our Restaurant, Bistro, Bar and busy function room.

Your main shifts will be predominantly 2 to 3 evening shifts each weekend.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in Food and Beverage in a high volume 4* hotel.

This position will suit a customer-focused individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to support & lead a team.

This is an interesting and varied role taking in all aspects of the food and beverage function of the business and will especially suit a person who excels in a multi-tasking environment.

The Candidate:

• Previous Duty Management experience in a high volume 4* or 5* property
• Have the ability to manage a large and demanding Hotel operation on a daily basis to include: Conferencing, Weddings, Bar and Restaurant
• Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
• Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
• Assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service from each department.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments.
