Job summary

JAM in Co. Galway, Ireland is seeking a Document Management Controller on a 12-month contract, starting January 2027, on-site with a day-rate. The role sits within the project team for a life-extension programme of a gas-fired power station in east Galway, with potential extension beyond 2033.

You will own and maintain the project registers and EDMS. You will report to the Project Manager, participate in design and weekly progress meetings, and manage the correspondence, transmittals, drawing

Qualifications

• Document control experience on an engineering or industrial project, using an EDMS.
• Experience in a power station or engineering operations environment.
• ONC/HNC or equivalent, plus IOSH Managing Safely.
• The right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the project’s electronic document management system, and keep it in order once contractors start sending things in.
• Manage the correspondence register, transmittals, drawing register and data room, plus the project risk register.
• Prepare packs for meetings and site visits, take minutes, chase actions, and help the PM keep core documents current.
