Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Civil Project Engineer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to contribute to the delivery of water and wastewater projects. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree or Level 7 qualification, a willingness to work on-site, and the ability to engage with suppliers and subcontractors during procurement and project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar civil project engineer role.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Level 7 qualification including diploma/bachelor equivalent.
• Full driving licence (B) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering one or more projects at a time.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards are adhered to on-site.
• Be familiar with HSQE management systems and current statutory requirements.
• Interact with suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders at procurement and delivery stages.
• Develop and review specifications and design drawings; provide design solutions to issues.
• Use GPS, total station and 3D scanner for setting out and as-built data collection.
• Prepare technical reports, safety files, O&M and progress reports on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with consultants, site staff, commercial resources and employer representatives.
• Contribute to CPD and mentor junior staff; demonstrate willingness to progress.
