Job summary

Greystar in Ireland seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the property meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle maintenance tasks and oversee installations, improvements, and safety checks as part of a dynamic residential community in Cork.

The role includes on-site responsibilities with an annual base salary starting from €35,000 to €38,000 depending on experience, plus eligibility for on-site bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance in a residential setting.
• Ability to develop risk assessments and manage preventive maintenance systems.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and manage tasks end-to-end.
• Willing to work on-call or overtime.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders and perform repairs per safety standards.
• Oversee turnover and pre-move-out inspections.
• Develop cleanliness standards across community.
• Inspect others' work and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance (PPM) and safety checks.
• Coordinate contractors on site and manage RAMS.
• Annual PAT testing and fire safety checks.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing.
• Be available on-call for emergencies.
