Job summary

Yugo USA LLC. in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support student housing across multiple residences. Based mainly at Lee Point, you will perform planned maintenance, routine checks, and reactive repairs on Saturdays, with Friday and Thursday included in scheduling.

You will handle PPM tasks, plumbing, carpentry, painting and light electrical work, using CAFM and BMS systems to record work and monitor safety compliance. Experience in occupied properties is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of practical maintenance experience in accommodation or facilities.
• Experience with minor plumbing is required; multi-skilled in carpentry and painting is a plus.
• Understanding of planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and building compliance.
• Ability to use CAFM and interpret BMS alarms.
• Excellent fault-finding, organization and ability to work independently.
• Experience in occupied properties and dealing with residents or contractors is valued.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland on a 20-hour weekly schedule (Thu–Sat).

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, functionality and presentation of student accommodation.
• Work across Lee Point, Amnis House, Melbourn Point, Bottleworks; primarily based at Lee Point.
• Carry out planned maintenance, routine inspections and reactive repairs.
• Update maintenance logs and records in CAFM.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and respond to alarms.
• Liaise with contractors and provide site access.
• Support resident experience and team collaboration.
