Job summary

Fáilte Ireland, supported by Conscia Talent, is seeking an Officer, Finance and Governance – Data Protection and Compliance on a temporary, full-time basis. The role is based in Galway or Kerry and contributes to GDPR compliance, risk management and organisational assurance within the agency.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ data protection experience, thorough GDPR knowledge, a recognised privacy credential, DSAR document handling experience, and a QQI Level 6 qualification

• Thorough knowledge of GDPR principles and data subject rights.
• A recognised privacy credential.
• Experience managing and redacting documents for Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
• A relevant professional qualification at QQI Level 6 or above.

Location: Galway or Kerry

Contract: Specified Purpose Contract, approximately until September 2027

Salary: €58,528 – €83,697 per annum *

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data protection and compliance professional to contribute to Fáilte Ireland’s governance framework, GDPR compliance, risk management and organisational assurance.

Essential requirements include:

• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in data protection compliance
• Thorough knowledge of GDPR principles and data subject rights
• A recognised privacy credential
• Practical experience managing and redacting documents for Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
• A relevant professional qualification at QQI Level 6 or above
