Responsibilities

• Ensure products conform to approved specifications.
• Book in and document all materials for the batch; ensure conformity to packaging records.
• Carry out sampling tests at required frequencies.
• Perform visual inspections at required frequencies.
• Liaise with QA for area/line clearances and production issues.
• Approve area/line clearances and pre-production samples as per procedures.
• Take corrective actions to maintain yields and safety standards.
• Record batch packaging quantities and ensure logs are up to date.
• Maintain housekeeping and clean logs (LUMAC, production-floor logs).
• Work with Team Leaders and Packaging Manager on production tasks.
• Report any safety defects to the Safety Officer/Manager.
• Be flexible with shift patterns and assist on additional tasks as needed.
