Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Stamullen, Co. Meath, is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a permanent night shift (Thu-Sat, 7pm-7am). You will oversee machine changeovers, breakdowns and planned maintenance within GMP guidelines to keep production on schedule.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical background, PLC programming capability and a proactive problem-solving approach. You will work across shifts as needed and contribute to continuous improvement projects in a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate (Craft- level 6 NFQ) in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Bachelor's/Associate/Diploma in Engineering or Certificate in Engineering.
• 4 years' experience in a related role.
• Proven leadership and results delivery.
• Clear goal setting and ability to meet targets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Flexibility to work across shifts as required.
• Able to collaborate effectively with others.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices and report near misses.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and equipment upkeep.
• Rapidly address breakdowns to minimise production loss.
• Lead engineering improvement projects and validation.
• Provide training as required and support GMP compliance.
• Assist with design changes and documentation in QMS.
