Responsibilities

• Ensure products produced conform to the approved specification.
• Book in materials for the batch and document per the packaging record.
• Carry out sampling tests at the required frequency.
• Perform visual inspections at the required frequencies.
• Liaise with QA for area/line clearances and quality issues.
• Approve area/line clearances and pre-production samples as required.
• Collect QC samples as per the batch packaging record.
• Maintain adherence to operating, quality and machine cleaning procedures.
• Report deviations to the immediate supervisor.
• Monitor yields and take timely corrective actions.
• Ensure safe work practices and keep safety logs.
• Be flexible to shift pattern changes at short notice.
• Support packaging manager on technical projects.
