Job summary

Manpower Group Ireland Ltd. is recruiting for Zimmer Biomet in Oranmore, Galway, for Product Builders on Weekday Nights to operate on the production floor, performing CNC machining, polishing, deburring, and robotic finishing with strict quality control.

Responsibilities include visual inspection, reading blueprints, and teamwork on shift schedules. Full training and competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• 1+ year experience polishing or buffing metals desirable.
• Experience operating CNC machines preferred.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Working with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers).
• Experience of visual inspection to detect cosmetic irregularities in metal.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Experience with paperwork inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell activities including polishing, deburring, cutting, straightening metal, finishing, cleaning.
• Operate CNC equipment for production of products.
• Identify cosmetic irregularities accurately.
• Train less qualified personnel on the job.
• Perform all steps of cleaning operation.
• Perform all NDT activities.
• Perform final buff for parts after robots finish.
• Operate robotic equipment for production of products.
• Change belts and wheels as necessary for proper finish.
• Visual inspection of parts and paperwork.
• Maintain all department equipment as required.
• Communicate with team members and engineers about product defects.
• Perform all production POD activities per training.
• Work as part of a team to achieve productivity targets.
