Job summary
Zimmer Biomet in Oranmore, Co. Galway, is hiring multiple Product Builders for Fixed Day shifts supporting production on the floor.
Responsibilities include CNC machining, NDT inspection, robotic finishing and cosmetic inspection to deliver top quality parts. Ideal candidates will have Leaving Certificate, literacy in English, and experience or willingness to learn polishing, deburring and operating CNC equipment.
Qualifications
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with CNC/machining or willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities
- Polishing, deburring, cutting, straightening metal and finishing.
- Operate CNC equipment for production of parts.
- Identify cosmetic irregularities accurately.
- Train less experienced personnel on the line.
- Perform cleaning steps and assist on NDT activities.
- Operate robotic equipment on the production line.
- Maintain equipment and communicate defects with the team.
- Cooperate to achieve department productivity targets.
