Job summary

The Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club in Maynooth is seeking a reliable Night Porter to support the Night Manager and keep the hotel running smoothly through the night. The role offers shifts from 10.45pm to 7.15am (or 11pm to 7.30am) on a part-time basis.

You will handle late check-ins, night audits, security walks, and guest requests with a friendly, can-do attitude while contributing to the hotel's smooth overnight operation in a busy 4-star setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work on your own initiative.
• Flexibility to work at least 3 night shifts between Monday & Sunday.
• A friendly & approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Checking in late arrivals & checking out early departures
• Porterage service as required
• General cleaning duties during the night shift
• Preparing reports & completing the night audit as required
• Conducting regular Hotel security and fire walks
• Room & bar service as needed

Conveniently located just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre and only a 25-minute drive from Dublin City Centre, the Glenroyal Hotel is easily accessible via national rail and bus services.

Role Overview:

As a Night Porter with the Glenroyal Hotel, you will work closely with the Night Manager to help keep the hotel running smoothly throughout the night. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a friendly, can-do attitude. The working hours for this role are from 10.45pm to 7.15am or 11pm to 7.30am. This is a part-time position and more hours may be offered in busier periods.
