Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone, Ireland, is seeking a part-time Night Porter to support the Nights Team during the night shift. The role includes hotel and guest security, reception duties, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the property.

Responsibilities include overnight security checks, guest assistance, luggage handling, and basic administration. Prior hospitality experience and strong customer service skills are valued assets.

• Prior hospitality or experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to empathize with guests and team alike.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that the security of the hotel is maintained overnight, conducting regular fire and security checks.
• To be available to attend to guests needs and ensure the highest standards of customer care at all times.
• Check in and out hotel guests as required as well as assisting with guest requests in relation to luggage/porterage and any other requirements.
• Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the hotels including, but not restricted to lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and the meeting room floor.
• Assist with Conference & Banqueting set-up upon request.
• Administration as required, to include printing reports and preparing and filing the guests registration cards and filing room service dockets.

The role of the Night Porter is to assist the Nights Team throughout the night shift in relation to hotel and guest security, reception duties as well as maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotels.
