Job summary

The Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone is seeking a part-time Night Porter to support the Nights Team with security, reception duties and guest care during the night shift.

Windward Management, a hospitality operator, manages the Diamond Coast Hotel in Ireland, offering room for progression within the Windward Group and opportunities for development.

The role includes handling luggage, assisting guests, keeping lobby and public areas clean, and contributing to a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience or experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to empathize with guests and team alike.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel security overnight with regular fire and security checks.
• Attend to guests' needs and ensure high standards of customer care.
• Check guests in and out and assist with luggage/porterage and guest requests.
• Clean lobby, back office, stairs, restaurant and bar areas; meet room floors.
• Assist with Conference & Banqueting setup and administrative tasks such as printing reports and filing guest registration cards.

The Diamond Coast Hotel are looking for a part time Night Porter to join their team.

About the Role

The role of the Night Porter is to assist the Nights Team throughout the night shift in relation to hotel and guest security, reception duties as well as maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotels.

About the role

Role and Responsibilities:

• To ensure that the security of the hotel is maintained overnight, conducting regular fire and security checks

• To be available to attend to guests needs and ensure the highest standards of customer care at all times

• Check in and out hotel guests as required as well as assisting with guest requests in relation to luggage/porterage and any other requirements.

• Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the hotels including, but not restricted to lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and the meeting room floor.

• Assist with Conference & Banqueting set-up upon request

• Administration as required, to include printing reports and preparing and filing the guests registration cards and filing room service dockets.

Requirements:
