Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Galway is seeking a Night Porter to support front office operations, ensuring guest safety and service standards. You will be the hotel ambassador, present in the heart of the property, assisting guests at check-in and check-out, and coordinating with the Night team to keep rooms ready and secure.

Duties include nightly safety checks, assisting kitchen with room service orders, setting out breakfast ambience, and providing warm, attentive hospitality to every guest.

Responsibilities

• Support front office operations during night shifts to ensure smooth guest experience.
• Carry out safety and security duties, including regular checks and Fire Walks as required.
• Assist kitchen with room service orders and prepare ambient breakfast items for presentation.

Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! Whilst working as part of a vibrant team, you’ll be maximising guest satisfaction by delivering excellent guest care at all times. As well as interacting with guests at welcome and departure, you’ll also be shaping their experience by getting involved in the Kitchen to prepare room service orders. If you’re our ideal Night Porter, you will: • (Along with your other colleagues in the Night team), take responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and our guests • Carry out regular Fire Walks each night • Be detail-oriented: you’ll be setting out ambient breakfast items in the morning, and it needs to look great!
