Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Dublin Parnell Street is seeking a Night Porter to support the Front Office team and ensure guest satisfaction around the clock.

You will assist with arrivals and departures, help with room service orders when needed, and contribute to the hotel's safety and security. This role offers training and clear progression within a welcoming, dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk or night operations is beneficial.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and proactive during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Front Office operations during night hours.
• Greet guests, assist with check-ins/outs when required.
• Assist with room service preparation and deliveries as needed.
• Maintain hotel safety and security, including fire walks.

Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! Whilst working as part of a vibrant team, you’ll be maximising guest satisfaction by delivering excellent guest care at all times. As well as interacting with guests at welcome and departure, you’ll also be shaping their experience by getting involved in the Kitchen to prepare room service orders. If you’re our ideal Night Porter, you will: • (Along with your other colleagues in the Night team), take responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and our guests • Carry out regular Fire Walks each night • Be detail-oriented: you’ll be setting out ambient breakfast items in the morning, and it needs to look great!
