Job summary

Principle HR is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to design, upgrade and support L2/L3 networks with a focus on automation using Python and Ansible. You will work across data centre and campus environments, building automation and AI-driven tooling where appropriate.

Ideally you have 5+ years in enterprise networking (CCNP level) and hands-on experience with VLANs, STP, MC-LAG, VRRP, OSPF and BGP, plus experience with Cisco/Arista/Juniper/Dell gear. Hybrid Cork on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise networking, at CCNP level.
• Strong hands-on experience with VLANs, STP, MC-LAG, VRRP, OSPF and BGP.
• Automation you've actually built, not just run.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper or Dell kit.

Responsibilities

• Design, upgrade and support L2/L3 networks and wireless infrastructure
• Automate provisioning, config and troubleshooting with Python, Ansible and REST APIs
• Get to the root cause of complex issues, not just the quick fix
