Job summary

Principle HR in Cork is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, upgrade and support enterprise switching, routing and wireless across data centre and campus environments.

You'll automate provisioning and troubleshooting with Python, Ansible and REST APIs, tackle root causes, and drive AI-assisted tooling to reduce manual work. Hybrid role with on-site presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise networking with CCNP level.
• Hands-on experience with VLANs, STP, MC-LAG, VRRP, OSPF and BGP.
• Automation you have built, not just run.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper or Dell kit.

Responsibilities

• Design, upgrade and support L2/L3 networks and wireless infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning, config and troubleshooting with Python, Ansible and REST APIs.
• Get to the root cause of complex issues, not just the quick fix.
