Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement and optimize enterprise networks with a focus on Layer 2/3 switching and automation. You will enhance efficiency, reliability and scalability across data centers and campuses.

Required: 5+ years in network engineering, CCNP-level knowledge, and a Bachelor’s in CS/IT. Hands-on Python/Ansible for automation and experience with OSPF/BGP are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated network engineering experience.
• CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent practical expertise.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Advanced proficiency with Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, VRRP, MC-LAG, STP, VTP, PortChannel).
• Solid command of enterprise routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security fundamentals.
• Practical experience with network automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and network programmability concepts.
• Hands-on familiarity across major enterprise networking platforms.
