Job summary

Google is seeking a Sales Manager for the Netherlands market within Google Customer Solutions. You will lead and coach a high-performing Dutch sales team that sells digital advertising solutions to SMBs, across verticals and business models, to drive client growth and measurable outcomes.

You will enable the team to reach ambitious business goals, engage with advertisers, and collaborate with sales leadership to set objectives and run day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
• Experience in a people management role leading sales teams focusing on the Benelux market.
• Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.
• 8 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
• Experience working in SMB sales in the Netherlands market.
• Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or e-commerce experience, with an understanding of e-commerce dynamics.
• Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including executive level engagement, effective questioning, objection managing, engaged offerings, including track record in commercial teams.
• Ability to grow in a rapidly changing environment, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, retain, motivate, and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team for the Netherlands market.
• Deliver against ambitious business and product goals, grow engagement, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.
• Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop plans for customers while tracking activity.
• Model and coach sales behaviors, including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection managing, and selling.
• Ensure team readiness to deliver advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
