Excel Recruitment is delighted to recruit a National Sales Manager for a well-established business operating across the Home, Garden, DIY and FMCG sectors. The role is based in Dublin with nationwide responsibility, mixing strategic leadership with hands-on field engagement.

Based in Dublin, you will lead field sales and merchandising teams, develop national sales strategies and drive revenue growth. The role offers strong progression towards Sales Director as the business grows.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in sales leadership, field sales management or business development.
• Experience managing field-based sales teams at regional, national or senior account level.
• Experience in FMCG, DIY, Home, Garden, Hardware or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial track record with evidence of delivering sales growth.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and maintain field presence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop a nationwide field sales and merchandising team.
• Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue and market growth.
• Maintain strong field presence, building relationships with key customers across Ireland.
• Drive revenue growth, customer development and market expansion.
• Collaborate with senior management on commercial planning and forecasting.
• Monitor performance, pipeline activity and conversion rates.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
• Promote a high-performance, customer-focused culture across the sales function.
