Job summary

Perform Recruitment is hiring a Sales Support Executive on behalf of our client, a well-established food and beverage supplier serving retail and foodservice customers across County Kerry, North Cork and West Limerick. This entry-level role offers exposure to FMCG sales, with field-based responsibilities and regular HQ attendance.

You will support the Sales Manager and team, manage existing accounts, help identify new business opportunities and gradually build territory skills.

Qualifications

• Some experience in a sales, customer service or account management environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enthusiasm to learn and build a career in field sales.
• Full clean driving licence and good IT skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Manager and senior sales colleagues in managing an existing customer base across retail and foodservice channels.
• Maintain van & truck sales delivery rosters to ensure customer supply is maintained.
• Work closely with the van sales team to identify growth opportunities across the territory.
• Assist in identifying and following up on new business leads within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with store owners, managers and foodservice operators.
• Provide excellent, responsive customer service on all account queries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity updates.
