Job summary

Excel Recruitment client seeks a Field Sales Developer / Area Business Developer to manage supermarket, convenience, and wholesale accounts across the South East of Ireland. The role focuses on growing existing relationships, acquiring new retailers, and increasing shelf space and visibility through strong store partnerships.

You must be highly sales and target driven, using your network to bring on board new retailers and drive territory growth.

Responsibilities

• Nurture existing customers whilst using your contacts to bring on board new customers
• Follow a store call file and journey plan, maintaining good relationships with your stores
• Achieve your KPI’s such as volume, promotional execution and product distribution
• Introduce new products and implement promotions
• Utilise certain seasonal trends to improve product placement and sales
• Negotiating extra displays for upcoming promotions
• Be the point of contact for all your stores
• Ensure that our trade incentives and activities is put to the best use
• Monitor and report on competitor activity.
• Identify new business opportunities by having a great understanding of the category and shopper behaviour in-store.
