Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks an experienced electrical facilities manager to oversee multi-site FM contracts, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective electrical maintenance across office and critical infrastructure sites.

The role emphasizes technical authority on electrical work, governance, and successful delivery of small works within an operational environment. Occasional nationwide travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification or degree in electrical/building services engineering.
• Proven multi-site FM or M&E maintenance contract management experience.
• Experience delivering small works or minor capital projects in ops environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety legislation and permit-to-work systems.
• Health and safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH) is preferred.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of hard and soft FM contracts including M&E maintenance.
• Lead contractor performance via KPIs, SLAs, and reviews.
• Control budgets, forecasting, invoices and cost savings.
• Act as technical authority on electrical maintenance across sites.
• Oversee small works from scoping to handover and cost estimates.
• Coordinate site access, outages, and ensure compliance with regs.
• Report performance, risk and compliance to senior leadership.
