Job summary

Kids Inc is seeking a Camp Manager to lead and grow our nationwide Camps programme across Ireland. You will own planning, delivery and development, overseeing a large team across up to 80 locations and collaborating with schools, marketing and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

You will drive enrolments, maximise participation and expand the Camps network, while monitoring KPI performance and adjusting strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management, operations, childcare, camps, education, leisure or similar role.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations and priorities.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, drive enrolments and achieve targets.
• Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with schools and external partners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working with KPIs, data and performance reporting.
• Willingness to travel to camp locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of Kids Inc Camps.
• Managing, supporting and developing the Camps team.
• Overseeing day-to-day activity and priorities across the programme.
• Managing the operational set-up and delivery of camps during Summer and Mid-Term breaks.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools and school partners.
• Liaising with schools to support the successful delivery and development of Camps.
• Identifying opportunities to expand Camps across the Kids Inc school network.
• Working closely with the Marketing team to develop campaigns that drive awareness, enquiries and enrolments.
• Monitoring enrolment levels and identifying opportunities to maximise bookings.
• Monitoring commercial performance and working towards agreed targets.
• Working closely with Recruitment and Staffing to ensure camp requirements are communicated and coordinated effectively.
• Supporting onsite teams with operational queries and challenges where required.
• Developing and improving processes to ensure the programme runs efficiently and consistently.
• Monitoring feedback from parents, schools and teams and using this to identify areas for improvement.
• Tracking and reporting on key Camps KPIs and performance.
• Working closely with senior management and other internal teams to support the continued development of the business.
• Ensuring all camps operate in line with Kids Inc policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.

Join Kids Inc and play a key role in delivering and growing our nationwide Camps programme.

With over 25 years of experience in childcare, Kids Inc is one of Ireland's leading providers of Early Years and Afterschool Care. We operate over 70 onsite Breakfast and Afterschool programmes nationwide, alongside our Creche and Preschool services.

Our Camps programme operates across locations nationwide during Summer and Mid-Term breaks, providing children with fun, engaging and enriching experiences throughout their school holidays.

We are now recruiting a Camp Manager to take overall ownership of the Camps programme, lead a dedicated team and drive its continued success.

About The Role

This is a key leadership position within Kids Inc, responsible for the planning, delivery and development of our Camps programme across the country.

With camps operating across up to 80 locations, you'll oversee a large and varied operation within our existing school network. You'll manage the Camps team and work closely with schools, Marketing and other internal teams to ensure each camp is well planned and delivered to a consistently high standard.

You'll also play a key role in driving enrolments, maximising participation and identifying opportunities to expand the programme across our school network.

This is a fast-paced role for someone who is confident managing people, building relationships, driving results and taking ownership of a significant area of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and reference checks
