Job summary

Apleona is recruiting for full-time multitasking cleaners to join a nursing home in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Night shift: 8:00 pm–8:00 am, four nights per week, up to 40 hours weekly.

Key duties include cleaning all areas, vacuuming, polishing, waste disposal, disinfecting kitchens and bathrooms, and reporting stock needs. Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of English.
• Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
• Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairs, and toilets.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls.
• Sweeping, floor polishing, and waste disposal.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish working area, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean, and supplies are replenished when required.
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
• General housekeeping and cleaning around the building.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of the stock required for replenishing purposes.

We are currently recruiting for Full-time Multitasking Cleaners to join our team in a nursing home in Athlone, Co. Westmeath

Night shift: 4 nights per week, Monday–Sunday, 8:00 pm–8:00 am (up to 40 hours per week).

Main duties and responsibilities

• Undertake light security duties, such as ensuring doors are locked, and letting visitors in/out
• Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, and toilets.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls
• Sweeping, floor polishing, and waste disposal
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Clean, disinfect, and polish working area, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean, and supplies are replenished when required
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators
• General housekeeping and cleaning around the building.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of the stock required for replenishing purposes
• Comply with all Health and safety company procedures
• Ensure the daily completionofinternal and external patrols
• Report any security events in the onsite log
• Deal with emergency situations, including but not limited to Initial alerts and evacuations
• Establishing parameter and access control
• Liaise with client and their National Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
• Undertake any other duties as requested

Qualifications and Experience
