Job summary

Control Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting Field Service Engineers for Ireland, with base anywhere linked by roads. You will service, maintain, install and upgrade packaging machinery, with training and a clear path for progression.

Expect travel to customer sites across Ireland and occasional European work. We value health & safety, proactive communication, and a willingness to learn, as you diagnose faults, read schematics and educate customers on optimal operation.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance or service experience.
• Experience in uploading and downloading software to machine components, PLCs, HMIs, control systems, pneumatics.
• Flexible to travel and stay away – a couple to a few nights per month.
• Health & safety and hygiene focused, friendly, proactive, good communication, desire to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

• Varied work including service, maintenance, installations, upgrades and occasional breakdowns for packaging machinery.
• Read mechanical and electrical drawings / schematics, fault finding, diagnostics, repair, installations.
• Educate customers on use and maintenance.
• Roles available typically in 3 areas; slicing/processing, thermoforming, or end-of-line packaging machinery.
