Job summary

Global Pharma Client is seeking a Moulding Engineer for our Westport facility on an initial 12-month contract. The role focuses on supporting manufacturing equipment performance, maintaining records, and collaborating with quality and production teams to ensure specifications are met.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering/science degree or equivalent experience, with knowledge of molding, extrusion, and polymer processes and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical qualification in engineering/science/moulding.
• Degree Level preferable and or relevant experience.
• Relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of molding, extrusion and/or polymer processes and technologies.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills; statistics knowledge/experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To partner with quality to ensure product attributes and performance achieve all specifications.
• To ensure the performance of day‑to‑day preventative and demand maintenance activity to maintain manufacturing equipment.
• To liaise with Production to ensure equipment performance is maximised.
• To maintain records and documentation on relevant Engineering Procedures and preventative/ demand maintenance.
